Not every problem is a product. Westra also builds systems to order, for organisations that know what they need and cannot buy it off a shelf.
The engineers who build our products take on client work too: the application nobody sells, the integration with an MIS that predates it, the data platform that makes twenty years of records usable. The scope is written down first, the system runs inside your perimeter, and it is maintained under a contract with response times in it.

How we work
Five stages, in this order, on every engagement. Nothing here is unusual; what matters is that each stage produces something you can hold us to.

Discovery
We sit with the people who will use the system, work through its process, records, approvals and rules, and write a scope to attach to a purchase order.
- 02
Build
We build in short cycles and show you a working system, not a status deck. Changes are re-scoped in writing, so the budget and the deadline stay honest.
- 03
Deployment
In your data centre, government cloud tenancy or private cloud. We harden it, set up backups, logging and monitoring, and hand over the runbook and the source.

Training
Role-based training for the people who will use the system and for the team who will run it, with manuals in the languages your staff actually read.
- 05
Maintenance
An annual maintenance contract with defined response times, security patching, version upgrades and a named team, so the system does not quietly decay after handover.
